Irmo High School is proud to welcome its new Head Varsity Girls Golf Coach, Jason Huffman. Coach Huffman has an extensive coaching background and passion for developing student-athletes that make him an outstanding leader for the program.
He has a wealth of head coaching experience spanning basketball, football, baseball, and eight successful seasons as the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Irmo High School. He brings a proven record of leadership, program development, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout his coaching career, he has emphasized teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.
An avid golfer himself, he is excited to combine his love for the game with his passion for mentoring young people as he leads the Irmo Girls Golf program. His goal is to help student-athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and gain a lifelong appreciation for the game of golf while representing Irmo High School with pride and integrity.
He looks forward to building a competitive program that fosters personal growth, character, and a positive team culture, while inspiring young ladies to succeed on the golf course, in the classroom, and in their future endeavors.
